Connect a Professional XLR Microphone to a 3.5mm Input
This 2.5 metre XLR Female to 3.5mm TRS cable allows you to connect a standard XLR microphone to devices with a 3.5mm mic input such as DSLR cameras, recorders, laptops, wireless transmitters, and portable audio interfaces.
Wired specifically for unbalanced operation, making it ideal for short-run microphone connections into consumer or semi-pro equipment.

🔧 Wiring Configuration (Unbalanced)

Tip + Ring → XLR Pin 2 (Hot)

Sleeve → XLR Pins 1 & 3 (Shield & Cold tied together)

This wiring safely converts a balanced XLR signal to an unbalanced 3.5mm TRS input.
⚠ Important: Not suitable for use with 48V phantom power unless confirmed compatible with your equipment.
