The AMP 205 AV from LD Systems is a versatile mini installation amplifier with integrated HDMI audio de-embedder, designed to deliver high-quality stereo sound directly from modern AV sources. Simply connect an HDMI video source and the AMP 205 AV extracts the audio signal and powers your loudspeakers, while the HDMI pass-through ensures seamless connection to your display.

At its core is a highly efficient 2 × 50 W Class-D amplifier, providing powerful and reliable performance into 4-ohm loudspeaker loads, with the option to operate in High Power Mode for a single 100 W channel at 2 ohms. Passive convection cooling ensures silent operation, making it ideal for meeting rooms, classrooms, retail spaces, hospitality venues, and corporate AV systems.

The ultra-compact form factor allows the AMP 205 AV to be installed discreetly behind displays, under tables, inside furniture, or even above suspended ceilings using the included mounting plates. It also fits 1/3-width 19″ rack trays, enabling clean, modular rack installations when combined with other TICA® series products.

For installers, the unit offers excellent control flexibility: remote source selection, external volume control, and standby switching via terminal blocks make integration with third-party control systems simple. An auto-standby function helps reduce power consumption when no signal is present, while the front panel LEDs provide clear visual feedback for signal, clip, and protection status.

Balanced line outputs and loudspeaker connections on terminal blocks ensure secure, professional wiring, and the external wide-range power supply (100–240 V) makes the AMP 205 AV suitable for global installations.
