Function

The SoundTools DMX Sender is a battery-powered unit that attaches to the female end of a 5 pin DMX cable and sends the proper voltage to test the line. The DMX Sniffer has 3 LEDs that, when attached to the male end of the cable, instantly diagnosis the status of the cable. Both units are housed in rugged anodized aluminum that will not rust and remain practically indestructible. We hope you’ll be happy with the DMX Sniffer/Sender in your toolkit for years to come.

INSTANT CABLE DIAGNOSTICS

The DMX Sniffer/Sender instantly tests for every possible fault. The Sniffer has 3 LED lights that will light up in either green or red LEDs to show whether the line is good (all green) or has errors (all red or a combination of red and green). Every unit comes with a color code read out sticker to help you diagnose in seconds.
Fun tip: A lot of users have found the best place for sticking their LED sticker is on the Sniffer unit.
