The TASCAM AE-4D is a compact, professional 4-channel AES/EBU to Dante bi-directional converter with a built-in DSP matrix mixer, designed for modern installed AV, broadcast, and live sound systems. AES/EBU and Dante – Seamless Digital Integration

The AE-4D allows you to:

• Convert 4 channels of AES/EBU to 4 channels of Dante

• Convert 4 channels of Dante back to AES/EBU

• Route signals in either direction simultaneously

This makes it ideal for integrating mixers, DSPs, broadcast gear, and digital playback systems that use AES/EBU into a Dante network — or distributing Dante signals back out to AES/EBU destinations.

Built-In Sampling Rate Conversion

Each AES/EBU input includes a sampling rate converter, allowing sources with differing clock rates to be used reliably within a Dante system — a major advantage in mixed-format professional environments.

Built-In DSP Mixer for Small-Scale Systems

The AE-4D features an internal DSP matrix mixer, enabling:
