TASCAM CA-XLR2d-N XLR Microphone Adapter (Nikon Version)

The TASCAM CA-XLR2d-N is the Nikon-specific version of TASCAM’s professional XLR microphone adapter for mirrorless cameras. The “N” designation means this model is optimised for Nikon cameras, supporting direct digital audio transmission and power via the Nikon accessory shoe on compatible models.

With dual XLR/TRS inputs, a high-performance HDDA microphone preamplifier, and direct digital audio output to the camera, the CA-XLR2d-N delivers clean, low-noise, professional sound without the need for external recorders or audio syncing in post.

Designed for Nikon Mirrorless Cameras

When used with compatible Nikon cameras, the CA-XLR2d-N:

• Transmits digital audio directly through the accessory shoe

• Draws power from the camera body (no batteries required)

• Eliminates analogue noise and post-production sync workflows

Note: This is the Nikon (-N) version. For Canon or FUJIFILM cameras, use the corresponding -C or -F models. The CA-XLR2d-N can also be used with other cameras via the included battery holder and analogue cable, but digital shoe audio is Nikon-only.
