Overview
Designed for education, sporting events, meetings, seminars, musical performances, parties, small clubs, and coffeehouses, the Fender Passport Event Series 2 Portable Powered PA System (375W) is a self-contained portable PA system that provides everything needed to deliver amplification to a medium-sized audience. Great for amplifying voices, instruments, and background music anywhere, anytime.
All input channels include volume, treble & bass, and reverb controls. Channels 1-4 feature combo XLR-1/4″ mic/line inputs, while channel 5 utilises a single 1/4″ line / Hi-Z input accommodating an instrument, such as a guitar. Channels 6/7 (L/Mono & R) offer two 1/4″ inputs as well as a stereo 3.5mm connector, and a built-in Bluetooth receiver for streaming audio wirelessly from a phone or tablet.
For outputs, the Passport Event Series 2 includes a 3.5mm headphone output as well as a 1/4″ mono output for connecting to a powered monitor for performing musicians. Should you wish to add more bass to your system, the 1/4″ sub output is designed to connect to a dedicated subwoofer. Simply connect your subwoofer and set its crossover to 120 Hz. External subwoofer use automatically removes signals below 120 Hz from main Passport amp and speakers.
The unit’s ease of operation is great for the layperson who needs quality with simple functionality. The Passport can be transported like a suitcase and with a simple flip of the cabinet latches, the system is ready for setup. Inside are two full-range speaker cabinets, a 375W powered mixer, and speaker cables.
